WE MET ON A BLIND DATE AND HAVE BEEN MARRIED SINCE 1980. WE HAVE 2 GROWN DAUGHTERS AND ALSO CLAIM THEIR HALF-BROTHER. ALL OF THEM ARE MARRIED. OUR DAUGHTERS HAVE GIVEN US 9 GRANDKIDS. BOTH RICK & I GREW UP IN MAGIC VALLEY. DIANE GREW UP ON A FARM IN HANSEN, IDAHO. RICK GREW UP IN THE TOWN OF BUHL, IDAHO. WE LIVE ABOUT 2 MILES OUT OF TOWN IN THE ORIGINAL FARM HOUSE OF THE AREA. (Many thanks given to my nephew's wife-Lyndsay-for preparing the background. She's very talented and apprecieated.)

We went 4-wheeling last week in the South Hills, (in Idaho-for those of you that don't know where the South Hills are.)  It is very rare to see these animals up there.  I'm grateful that I had a camera.  I wish that I had my better camera because they are not great pictures.  In fact, when I took the color out of them-they turned out better.  We saw 2 bull moose and 1 cow moose near Porcupine Springs Campground.  I just had to post the pictures.  Hope you can see them since the pictures didn't turn out great.  8-26-2010



 I really liked this picture the best.

Self explanatory -I wish it was better quality.
The cow was running up hill. 
Other riders in the area, said that they saw the cow
and calf walk thru their campground earlier in the morning.
We did not see the calf.
